This weekend the latest in the PLANET OF THE APES film franchise is being released, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. For those who can't get enough APES (such as myself!), the boxed-set, 5-Disc, Blu-ray 40th Anniversay Edition of the series is available. I'm gonna be on this like hair on a monkey's . . . well, you get the idea.

Orginally released by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment on November 4, 2008, each Apes film is authored in Java on BD-50 Discs and presented in widescreen 2.35:1 1080p video and newly remastered 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
For the first time in North America the unrated version of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes will be available packing an extra eight minutes of footage. The set also includes a number of all-new supplemental features, shown below, with all supplements presented in high definition.
