Vee: I make a concerted effort not to remember my time in the animation industry, but as I recall, there are no sound business practices in those studios. Animators are switched out like light-bulbs: carpal tunnel? Fired. RSI? Fired. Not meeting quota? Fired. Of course you can show up drunk and wearing a burlap sack, which some people take to be a workplace benefit. It loses its allure when you realize you have no bargaining power, upward mobility or respect... Which, I suppose, is in alignment with showing up in the morning in a potato bag.
